My Rightful Data Privacy Policy

My Rightful Data (myrightfuldata.com) is operated by Global Vibing LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we", "us"). It is a marketplace where you own, price and sell your own personal data, and where you can ask data brokers to remove you. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.
My Rightful Data runs separately from Global Vibing's other platforms. It has its own database, its own sign-in system and its own settings, and your account and data are not shared with any other Global Vibing platform.
My Rightful Data does not send email yet, including sign-in links. This policy describes the email we will send once it does.
1. What we collect
- Your account: your email address; the name, phone number and address you add to your profile; a one-way hash of your password if you set one; your two-step sign-in settings if you turn them on; and records of your sign-in sessions.
- What you submit and list: the data you choose to submit, the listings you create (categories, descriptions, prices and your privacy setting for each category), and medical data listings with the authorization you attach to them.
- Earnings and payouts: your earnings, your payout history, and the reference to the Stripe account you connect to be paid. Stripe holds your bank details; we never see them.
- Data broker removal: the brokers you ask us to contact, the requests we send them, and their responses.
- Businesses: company name and contact details, verification documents, team members, projects, purchases and invoices. Payment card details go straight to Stripe.
- Technical and security records: IP addresses, browser type, the pages requested and errors, in our server and Cloudflare logs, and an audit log of account actions.
2. How we use it
- To run the marketplace: show your listings to verified business buyers, complete purchases, hold payment in escrow until delivery, and pay you through Stripe.
- To remove you from data brokers when you ask: we send your name, email address, phone number and address to the brokers you choose, through their opt-out forms or by email.
- To keep your account secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and tax obligations.
We never sell or share your personal information on our own. The only data a buyer receives is a listing you created and chose to sell, at the price you set.
3. Who helps us run My Rightful Data
- Stripe: processes purchases and subscriptions, and pays sellers through Stripe Connect.
- DeepSeek: drafts the removal requests we send to data brokers for you, so it receives the name and contact details in each request; DeepSeek operates from China.
- Data brokers: receive the removal requests you ask us to send.
- Cloudflare: provides our DNS, network protection and content delivery, and sees the IP address and request of each visit.
- OVHcloud: hosts our servers in Virginia, United States.
Everything else runs on our own servers: the database, the sign-in system (SuperTokens) and the cache.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our rights.
5. How long we keep it
- Your account, submissions and listings: until you delete them or delete your account (Settings, then Delete account).
- Purchase, earnings and payout records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Data broker removal records: as long as your account exists, so you can see what was sent and answered.
- Technical records: only as long as security and troubleshooting need them.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent you gave. Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws have these rights, and we will not treat you differently for using them. Residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom may also complain to their data protection authority.
In the European Union and the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: providing the service you asked for (contract), keeping the marketplace secure and preventing fraud (legitimate interests), keeping records the law requires (legal obligation), and your consent for medical data and for each broker request you start.

7. Children
You must be 18 or older to use My Rightful Data. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
8. Where your information is processed
My Rightful Data is run from the United States. Your information is stored on our servers in Virginia, United States, and the removal requests are drafted by DeepSeek in China. If you use My Rightful Data from another country, your information leaves that country.
9. Changes to this policy
We post every change on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we also tell signed-in users with a notice on My Rightful Data.
